Ken Jenkins Marches in Lockstep with Albany Democrats’ New and Dangerous Sanctuary Policy

Ken Jenkins proves time and again that he stands shoulder to shoulder with the far-left Democrats in Albany to push a new and dangerous sanctuary policy that undermines law enforcement and jeopardizes your safety.

 

It’s egregious that socialist lawmakers and radical activists jammed streets around the State Capitol, demanding passage of the NY4All Act — a bill that prohibits any cooperation between local government and federal immigration authorities.

 

Jenkins and his Albany allies enact policies that shield criminal illegal immigrants from ICE and leave residents at risk. Jenkins implemented Westchester’s sanctuary county law and proudly declared that ICE is “not welcome” in our county. And now, with his budgetary mismanagement, strained services, and public safety and federal funds threatened, Jenkins refuses to repeal it.

These sanctuary policies exacerbate the crisis that puts violent criminal illegal aliens first and New Yorkers last. The Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act would hold jurisdictions like Westchester accountable for obstructing federal immigration enforcement.

 

My administration will stand with law enforcement, work with our federal partners and put the safety of Westchester families ahead of giving sanctuary to criminals. Ken won’t. I will.
